Track was cold and TC and SC were off. I gave it bit too much throttle cresting over T13 and the back end got light. For a moment I thought I was going to end up in the wall.

Tunnel Hill will catch you out. I’ve seen an RX-8 go into that tire barrier.
I’ve had the back end of my Z4 go light over that as well. I didn’t go into the wall, fortunately.

Good save! Just out of curiosity, why do you run with all assists off? I totally get it on earlier cars, but I thought they were pretty good on the 302.

Track time plus event insurance runs me $400-500 in the Camaro. On the R6 I don’t carry track insurance, and I can get track time as low as $400/3 day weekend.

When we were doing Lemons up there in our Foxbody it got all four tires light over turn 10 when really pushing it... you’d rest the hill and just kind of do a 4 wheel slide out to the rumble strips and grip back up again.
Super scary the first few times then you just kinda got used to it... heh.

Trackdays here range from $200-300. I never buy the insurance, but figure another $200-300 in gas, brake wear, and tire wear. SCCA TNIA was $150 for 3 sessions. That’s a great way to try it out.
